The Thermomix® TM7 has been announced

What is the difference between the Thermomix® TM6 and the TM7?
The new Thermomix® TM7 looks quite different to the Thermomix® TM6.
At this early stage I don't have all the specifications to give a full comparison. These will be provided before the TM7 pre order period commences.
What I do know so far is that the Thermomix® TM7 has:
- A 2.2 litre insulated bowl. The insulation means the bowl does not get hot on the outside and it also means the operation of the Thermomix® TM7 is very quiet.
- The Varoma® has been redesigned and is 40% larger.
- There will be 20 modes at the time of launch, compared to 17 on the TM6. The Thermomix® TM7 will add Open Cooking, Steaming and open Browning modes.
- The screen is 10 inches, compared to 6.8 inch screen on the TM6.
- Guided Cooking is improved and smarter.
- The Thermomix® TM7 includes a larger Varoma®, improved spatula, mixing bowl with insulation cover, and built in slider foot.
- Over 200 free recipes will be downloaded to the Thermomix® TM7.
- The Thermomix® TM7 will have a new Thermomix® Cutter and Spiralizer to match the specifications of the new model. The Cutter for the TM5/TM6 is not compatible with the TM7.
How much is the Thermomix® TM7?
The Thermomix® TM7 will be available to purchase in Australia for $2,649.
This price includes the base, mixing bowl with mixing knife and insulation cover, lid and lid cover, spatula, butterfly whisk, simmering basket and Varoma®.
Can I get a free Thermomix® TM7 if I join as a consultant?
As a consultant for Thermomix®, you earn commission and you earn incentives. Now that the Thermomix® TM7 has been announced, Thermomix® in Australia has released the details of how new consultants will be able to earn a free Thermomix® TM7.
Even better, your Thermomix® will be available for you at the end of June. Basically, you will be first in the queue as they are unloaded off the ship!
The relevant dates for this offer are:
- Consultant Application Forms must be signed between 9am AWST 27 February and 3pm AWST 29 April 2025.
- The application must include a 60 Day Program (60DP) start date between 9am AWST 4 March and 11:59pm AWST 30 April 2025 (inclusive).
When is the Thermomix® TM7 coming to Australia?
The Thermomix® TM7 is expected to be available for delivery in the second half of 2025, with ongoing stock delays expected.
Pre-sales of the Thermomix® TM7 will commence in Australia on 3 April, with dispatch expected from July, when direct sales will also commence.
Pre-sales will require full up-front payment of the purchase price of $2,649. ZipMoney, Humm and AfterPay will not be available as payment options during the pre-sale period.
Dispatch of Thermomix® TM7 will be on a first ordered, first dispatched basis and delays of 2-4 months are expected.
From 3 April, and while TM6 stock lasts, you will have the option to purchase either the Thermomix® TM6 or the Thermomix® TM7.
During the pre-sale period, you can only purchase your Thermomix® TM7 through a consultant. There won't be the opportunity to have a demo with the Thermomix® TM7 during this period, but I will know a lot more about the new model before the pre-sale starts and can talk you through all the features and updates.

What happens if I bought my Thermomix® TM6 in February 2025?
If you purchased your Thermomix® TM6 between the 1st and 14th of February, then your TM6 has not yet been dispatched.
You will have received an email on 15 February giving you options. You have until 3 March to respond with your choice.
Please check your inbox and your junk folder for an email from Thermomix, dated 15 February, if you purchased a TM6 in the first two weeks of February.
The choices available to you are:
- Retain your TM6 and upgrade to the new gift with purchase offer
- Retain your TM6 and receive the $300 TheMix Shop Gift Card and second bowl set, as per your original purchase offer
- Cancel your TM6 order and receive a refund
- Cancel your TM6 order and transfer to a pre-order sale for the TM7 once these become available.
If Thermomix have not heard from you by 3 March, they will send out your TM6, second bowl set and $300 TheMix Shop Gift Card automatically. After which point, you will no longer be within the timeframe to opt into a different option.
My Thermomix® TM6 is only a few months old. Am I able to swap it for the TM7?
For customers who purchased before 1 February, the option to exchange or refund your Thermomix is not available.
You own a wonderful Thermomix® model, which will continue to help you in the kitchen for many years to come.
There will likely be options in the future for you to trade up your Thermomix® to the TM7 if you choose.
I truly empathise with you if you are disappointed that you did not know a new model was coming at this time. As a consultant, we only found out at the same time as the general public.
When can I see the Thermomix® TM7 in a demo?
TM6 will continue to be the only Thermomix model used in demonstrations and cooking classes through to July 2025.
From April when Pre-sales become available, as a Thermomix® Consultants I will have a TM7 video I can share at demos, or with you individually.
From July, when the Thermomix® TM7 orders start to be dispatched, consultants will also receive their Thermomix® TM7. They will then be using the TM7 in cooking demos.
Can I still purchase the Thermomix® TM6?
Right now, the Thermomix® TM6 is the only Thermomix® available for sale in Australia.
You can still order a TM6, complete with the current very generous offer.
When you purchase your Thermomix® TM6 now, you will also receive a bonus bundle worth over $1000, which includes:
- A second bowl, blade and lid set
- A Thermomix® Cutter and Spiraliser
- A Blade Cover & Peeler
- A Glider Board
- A Cookidoo subscription for 15 months (normally 3 months)
Once TM6 stock is exhausted, there will not be further opportunities to purchase TM6.

Will the Thermomix® TM6 still receive software updates?
Thermomix® guarantees that TM6 updates will continue for at least 5 years after the last sale of the model.
Feature updates on Cookidoo® may also be made to enhance functionality, while some new features will be exclusive to the Thermomix® TM7.
Is there a trade up program to upgrade from my TM31, TM5 or TM6 to the new Thermomix® TM7?
Thermomix® in Australia run Trade Up opportunities from time to time. There isn’t currently a Trade Up opportunity for TM7.
