Making your own peanut butter, or other nut butter, in a Thermomix® is super easy and gives you a great product at the end. Making it yourself means you control what goes into it, and you won’t have preservatives and various numbered additives in the mix.

How I make Nut Butter in the Thermomix®
My recipe for nut butter could not be more simple. I have been making this since I first bought a Thermomix® in 2009.
Basically I do a big batch with more or less equal quantities of almonds, cashews and peanuts. Then blitz on speed 9 for two minutes. That is it!
The result is a semi-smooth consistency. The blending brings out the natural oils, so there is no need to add any oil at all. You can blend for longer if you choose to get the consistency you like.
This keeps for months in the fridge. Although it never lasts that long.
