Thermomix TM6 Sales and Training in Australia

New offer to upgrade your Thermomix® TM5 to the Thermomix® TM6

Thermomix® TM5 owners in Australia now have the opportunity to upgrade to the Thermomix® TM6 model, through a trade up program. Plus the best bit – you can  keep your TM5 if you choose.

This post provides you with all the details you need on how this works, plus information on the key differences between the Thermomix® TM5 and the Thermomix® TM6.

How much do I get for trading in my Thermomix® TM5?

Thermomix TM5 upgrade offer with freebies and gifts.

The trade up offer details

The upgrade offer is available from 9am AWST Tuesday 22 October until 11.59pm AWST Monday 4 November 2024.

If you own a Thermomix® TM5 and take up this offer you will receive a $380 discount on the TM6. In addition, you will receive a bonus Thermomix® Bowl, Blade and Lid Set, valued at $395 and a $200 Woolworths eGift Card. In total, this represents a value of $975 for the offer.

Plus you can choose to keep your TM5 as a second machine, give it away, sell it privately or send it back to Thermomix® to be recycled. The choice is yours.

What if my TM5 is damaged?

The offer is still available to you if your current Thermomix® TM5 is damaged or has a fault.

If you do choose to send it back to Thermomix®, you only need to send back the machine plus the bowl, blade and lid set. If you have lost other accessories, that is ok.

How much will I get if I sell my TM5 privately?

If you choose to keep your TM5, then the option to sell it is ideal as it means you can offset the cost of the TM6 through the trade up offer.

In viewing recent listings for sold Thermomix® TM5s on eBay and listings on Facebook Marketplace, most seem to sell for between $600 and $900 now, with some exceptions at higher values.

So if you want a TM6 and don't want a second machine on your bench, then selling your TM5 is a great option to make the upgrade even more affordable.

This really is a great deal that I recommend you take up

What payment options are available?

The payment options available when trading up to the Thermomix® TM6 are:

  • Credit card or PayPal: single payment of $2199
  • AfterPay: 4 payments
  • Humm Finance: 5% deposit and then payments over three or 24 months.
  • ZipMoney: 24 months interest free, with weekly payments of $23.46.
Remember, you will also receive the Thermomix® Bowl, Blade and Side Set as a bonus, for free (valued at $395) and a $200 Woolworths eGift Card.

Do I have to return my old Thermomix® when trading in for the Thermomix® TM6?

NO!!! You no longer need to send back your TM5. This is an incredible change to the trade up offer from previous years.

You can choose to keep it as a second machine, which is a great option. Or you may gift it to a friend or family member, or sell it to offset the cost of your new TM6.

You do still have the option to return your TM5 to Thermomix® for recycling if you choose.

The process to purchase

  1. Complete the form at the bottom of this page. This will send me your details so I can create an order for you that includes the discount and the free gifts.
  2. You will receive an email with an invoice detailing the items, and a link to pay.
  3. Click on the link provided in the email and you will be taken to the Thermomix® website shopping cart. The discounted Thermomix® TM6 and free gifts will already be in the cart. I will be showing as your consultant.
  4. Complete the check out process. The total amount due for the Thermomix® TM6 and free gifts is $2199.

The next steps

  1. Once you have paid for the new TM6, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for returning your TM5. If you have chosen to keep your TM5 you can ignore this email.
  2. If you do wish to return your TM5 to Thermomix® for recycling, then follow the instructions in the email. The cost of returning your old TM5 is paid by Thermomix®, not you. You do need to provide the packaging.

How long until my new Thermomix® TM6 arrives?

Your TM6 will be dispatched within 48 hours. You will receive a dispatch notification with tracking details.

Once your Thermomix® is dispatched, it will normally take 7-10 days to be delivered to you.

Why should I upgrade my Thermomix® TM5?

The key differences between a Thermomix® TM5 and TM6

The key differences between the Thermomix® TM6 and the TM5 are:

  • The TM6 is a connected machine, using wifi to fully integrate Cookidoo®
  • Guided Cooking really makes a big difference to your everyday cooking –  making the process quicker and also you can be sure of never missing a step
  • The increased highest temperature, now 160 degrees, means you can do high heat cooking and work with sugar. You can now stir fry your meat and vegetables, make incredible caramel, honeycomb, and more. See my caramelised onions here.
  • The addition of the many modes on the TM6 makes everyday cooking simpler. Plus more get added via software updates. You can access egg boiler mode, rice cooker mode, pre-clean, warm up, fermentation, slow cook, Sous Vide, peeler, and many more.

How hard is it to learn how to use the Thermomix® TM6?

When reading about all that the Thermomix® TM6 can do, and all the modes and functions, it can sound pretty overwhelming.

To help you get the most out of your new Thermomix® TM6, and to learn to love it as much as you love your current TM5, I have created free video training for you.

My video training for Thermomix® and Cookidoo® – the ThermoJo 30 Day Kickstart – is unique and created by me, for you. It has been designed to get you using and loving the TM6 within days. This is provided to you for free when you purchase your TM6 through me, as your Thermomix® Consultant.
